Roberto De Zerbi was quick to acknowledge the former manager of Brighton and Hove Albion, Graham Potter after today’s victory against Chelsea. The winning manager addressed that he would like to thank the former coach as he is the person who has created the ‘strong’ team and he is just adding his idea to it.
The interview of the Italian boss after creating ‘history’ in Stamford Bridge didn’t look like something that was not pre-planned. All the roots of today’s interview could trace back to the tussle that took place with the Italian manager and Tottenham boss Cristian Stellini. Stellini said in a post-match interview questioning De Zerbi’s success in Brighton.
Brighton secured a 2-1 victory over the loosely knit Chelsea team in Stamford Bridge. The Seagulls dominated the entire game. The Blues although successful to find an early lead through Gallagher’s goal but failed to hold on to the lead. The visiting team made two miraculous substitutions. The substitution of Danny Welbeck took the visitors to equalise right before halftime. The Seagulls although found many major chances, with Mac Allistor getting close more than twice. The 19-year-old Julio Enciso, scored a brilliant stellar from outside the box to secure the win.
Brighton will now be marching to face Manchester United in the FA Cup. While the Reds recently got Lisandro Martinez out for the season, they might need to take care of their defence. While speaking of the other, interim caretaker Frank Lampard would be looking ahead to end their losing streak in the second leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid. Brighton has secured their third win in the last five games moving to 7th position in 29 games.

Chelsea’s loss against Brighton in Stamford Bridge was not accepted by the fans lightly anymore. Former English manager Chelsea who has returned to the club for an interim period of this season was trolled by the fans after the match.
Fans even went on tagging him as the ‘Worst Manager of the Premier League’. Calling for his resignation, the fans said that if Graham Potter was bad then Lampard is worse than the former.
The English interim manager of the Blues has failed to register a single win since his arrival. Although the interim manager asks the Chelsea fans to hold patience, they are preparing for the second leg and the players would ‘give everything ‘ against Real Madrid. The caretaker is yet put to question. ‘Frank Lampard, please take a rest about coaching!! Othwise your name is going to be disappeared in Chelsea fan’s” a fan tweeted after the match.
