Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic is weighing his options this summer. The Croatian has interest from Barcelona and Al-Nassr. With his future undecided, Brozovic posted a cryptic message on his Instagram on Wednesday creating both tensions and confusion, especially amongst Barcelona fans.
The negotiations for the sale of the Nerazzurri midfielder were the topic of a meeting between Inter and Al-Nassr. The teams essentially reached an agreement on the deal’s provisions. A green signal from the concerned player is still lacking, though. The 30-year-old has had Al-Nassr’s generous offer in front of him for a while, but he is still stalling.
With Barcelona still aiming to sign him, Brozovic has had Al-Nassr waiting for his reply. Amongst his undecided future, Brozovic has teased the fans with his Instagram story. “More to come, stay tuned.” Says Brozovic, with the message seemingly giving Barcelona fans hope of him joining up.
The 30-year-old has been relentlessly pursued by Barcelona. For this summer’s transfer window, the La Liga winners have made replacing Sergio Busquets a top priority. The Blaugranas were prepared to turn to Brozovic after seemingly missing out on Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich. They have already attempted and had Inter reject a trade deal including Frank Kessie.

Marcelo Brozovic’s teammate Lautaro Martinez also linked to a major European club
Lautaro Martinez, striker for Inter Milan, is reportedly “definitely” open to the idea of joining Chelsea during the forthcoming summer transfer window. Therefore, the Blues attach great attention to this transfer window. Mauricio Pochettino, the manager, wants to add the proper players to the team to strengthen it. It is to make sure that last season’s failure is never repeated.
Given that Kai Havertz is departing to rivals Arsenal. And Romelu Lukaku’s future lies away from Stamford Bridge, Chelsea needs to bolster its attacking unit. These vacancies can ably be filled by Lautaro Martinez.
In recent months, Martinez has been frequently mentioned in connection with a relocation to West London. His outstanding performance from the previous campaign, during which he led Argentina to the World Cup victory and scored 21 goals in Serie A, and Chelsea is paying attention to it. Martinez fits the bill for Chelsea’s big signing at the forward position, despite the fact that they are still moving forward with the signing of Nicolas Jackson.
