Saka and Ronaldo

Bukayo Saka is one of the Premier League’s most exciting youngsters. The 21-year-old has scored different types of goals for his team, something that he learned from Cristiano Ronaldo whom he used to look up to while growing up.

Saka said, “When I was younger I was always a really active kid. My earliest memory of playing is actually in my back garden, but when I started playing with other kids then it was in the close out the front. The older I got, the more I fell in love with football. I played a lot but watched a lot of football too.”

The 21-year-old also added, “I used to love Cristiano Ronaldo. A lot of other kids my age used to love watching him as well. The different things he could do on the pitch, his skills. The way he took free kicks too, I think a lot of us used to try to emulate that. I love Ronaldo’s mentality. He always wants to be the best, is always working hard. When he gets on the pitch he performs with full confidence.”

Saka is not the only one to follow in the footsteps of the mercurial Portuguese. Kylian Mbappe is also one of the vast number of players who grew up idolizing the former Real Madrid talisman. Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, who were in the Manchester United academy during Ronaldo’s first stint at Manchester United, have also been very vocal about their fanboyism towards the player.

How can Arsenal still win the Premier League title

Lack of experience shows as Arsenal stutter to yet another loss (Just Arsenal)

Manchester City has trailed Arsenal for most of the Premier League 2022-23 season. In the last three months, until the loss to Brighton on Sunday, Arsenal has lost twice in 16 games – both times to Man City. After their latest fight, City returned to the top of the Premier League and has stayed there since.

Since Arsenal lost to Brighton, Manchester City will need a win against Chelsea to secure the league title and it will be their third in a row. Arsenal will have to win both their remaining games against Wolves and Nottingham Forest respectively and has to hope that Man City loses all its remaining three games, against Chelsea, Brighton, and Brentford, or lose two and draw one match or if City draws two games and lose one and have a lower goal difference than Arsenal.

With City in a rich vein of form – its last defeat in any competition came more than three months ago – Arsenal’s chances are slim, to say the least. To make it worse, City has a 19-goal advantage over Arsenal in the goal difference, making the third criterion highly unlikely.
