Burnley sacks Sean Dyche after 10 years, the manager who helped them qualify to the Europa League for the first time in their 51-year-old history

Sean Dyche has been sacked by Burnley after being the longest-running manager for a club in Premier League. Burnley is in the mouth of relegation from the Premier League this season as they are currently at the 18th spot with 8 games in hand.
Burnley’s owner company, ALK Capital Investment Group, and the team management have made a hard decision looking at the achievements that Sean Dyche has brought to Burnley over the past ten years.
According to the club’s chairman, Alan Pace, the team management had to act fast looking at the risk of the club being relegated from the top flight league of England.
Burnley is currently four points from the upper-ranked club and with only eight games to play in the league and thus, something serious had to be done for the betterment of Burnley’s future in the Premier League. The season has gone awful for the club looking at the position in the league, making them sack their ‘old horse’ from the managerial position.
“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Sean and his staff for their achievements at the club over the last decade,” chairman Alan Pace said in a statement.
Sean Dyche’s reign at Burnley as manager since he joined the club in October 2012

Sean Dyche joined Burnley in October 2012 and since then, he has managed the club through various ups and downs in his tenure at the England-based football club. Sean Dyche has helped Burnley be promoted to the top division from the second-division Championship.
During his time, Burnley achieved their best rank in the Premier League for the first time in their history in 2018 as the seventh-spot holder and qualified for the European League for the first time in 51 years. They also finished in the top 10 in the 2019-20 season. They were really close to getting relegated last year as well but somehow managed to finish in the 17th spot.
