Paolo Maldini, in a recent interview, talked about the phone call he received from Carlo Ancelotti immediately after the draw of the Champions League draw. Both teams are very eager and ambitious of playing the final on June 10, at the Atatürk stadium. In case it happens, then it would be just like ’05 UCL finals.

Talking about the phone call from his ex-manager, Ancelotti said, “Do you know what the problem is? Ancelotti, who is now at Real Madrid, also has a pending issue in Istanbul. Immediately after the draw, he called me: ‘Paolo, see you in Istanbul, yes? ‘ “

When asked about AC Milan’s chances of reaching the final, Maldini said, “It won’t be easy, but I think the history of the club gives us the opportunity to believe in it. It’s happened before. When you get to March-April, when the Champions League arrives, you can turn a season into something incredible. We have this opportunity and we want to seize it”.

Milan will play against Napoli in the quarterfinals. They are on the opposite side of the table to Real Madrid. So this means Milan could only meet Real Madrid in a hypothetical final. In that case, the two teams with the most European Cups in history would face each other.

AC Milan have been offered Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita. Kieta is set to leave Anfield when his contract expires this summer. San Siro might just be interested to acquire his services. And it would be a silver lining if they get it for free at the end of the season.

As per reports, Neither Naby Keita nor Liverpool hierarchy have shown interest to extend the Guinea midfielder’s stay at the club. Although the Reds bought Kieta for almost £52m, half a decade back. But the club has reportedly decided to let him leave for free.

Reports suggest that Kieta would like to play in Europe. This has made many clubs tip-toed as they would like to get a world-class player without splashing a huge lot of money from their budget.
