Unusual scenes unfolded at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea‘s Premier League match against Fulham as a few fans were spotted brushing their teeth in the stands. The group was reportedly promoting the upcoming Hollywood movie ‘Argylle’.
During Chelsea’s game with Fulham, some fans in funny outfits did quirky things. This included brushing teeth, reading, and checking the time. Later, they called it a “circus” for the movie ‘Argylle’. However, fans who came to watch the game did not like it as they mentioned this as construction as the people brushing their teeth were standing right in front of them.
The club’s leaders were criticized by Blues fans for allowing such activities in the stadium. A fan said the club isn’t being serious anymore. The film, with Henry Cavill and directed by Matthew Vaughan, is said to be produced by one of Todd Boehly‘s companies, and the club’s management and players are promoting it. Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was seen wearing an ‘Argylle’ patch on his coat, and midfielder Enzo Fernandez had a unique backpack during training to promote the film.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that a fan has brushed his teeth inside Stamford Bridge. In a 2009 Premier League match against Manchester United, a fan named ‘David’ amusingly brushed his teeth in the stands, leaving fellow fans astonished.

Hoping to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough, the club aimed to improve. In the match against Fulham, Cole Palmer scored the only goal from the penalty spot. This helped secure a lead for the home side.
Chelsea maintained the same lineup as in the Middlesbrough game, with only one change. Armando Broja replacing Noni Madueke. Further, this win has boosted Chelsea to 8th place in the Premier League. Now, they have surpassed Manchester United, who will be face Tottenham.
