Following the recent buzz surrounding massive celebrity turnout at the LAFC vs Inter Miami game, USMNT star Christian Pulisic has taken a dig at the same. Netizens were buzzing around the fact that numerous celebrities, including A-listers such as LeBron James, Selena Gomez, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc. came up to watch Messi play but Captain America seems to have differed to agree here.

Following the game, MLS posted a reel showing the massive star turnout. USMNT star Christian Pulisic reshared the video on his Instagram story, with a dig at celebrities, pointing out their reluctance to show the same support for the national team. The captain of the US National Team wrote, “Let them know they’re invited to US National team games too ?.” Pulisic is clearly not happy with the lack of support by the celebrities for the USMNT.

Christian Pulisic, dubbed ‘Captain America’ by fans and teammates, has starred for USMNT regularly and is called up for the games in the upcoming international break. Even though Pulisic wants the celebrities to come to watch games of the National team, USMNT faces Uzbekistan and Oman in their upcoming friendlies. Unfortunately for him and the team, it seems celebrities will not be accepting his ‘open invitation’.

Christian Pulisic is enjoying life in Italy. Since making the move to Italian giants AC Milan, Pulisic has taken Serie A by storm, scoring world-class goals on his debut against Bologna and also against Torino in a 4-1 win. With 2 goals in 3 starts, he is currently ‘undroppable’. Milan also completed the signing of Samuel Chukwueze from La Liga Club Villarreal for €20m+€8m add-ons.

Competition for the right wing has increased in Milan. Pulisic’s impeccable form versus Chukwueze’s proven pedigree at his previous club. This is certainly a dilemma that the boss will have to face. However, reports suggest that Pulisic may miss out on the upcoming fixture against Inter Milan after the International break. So, Chukwueze will be getting his much-awaited start in one of the biggest games of Serie A- the Milan derby.

AC Milan are currently 2nd in Serie A, only behind arch-rivals Inter Milan. It all comes down to this!
