Vinicius Jr racism news has exploded on the internet as many fans and renowned personalities are standing beside the Brazilian player. Recently in the match against Valencia, Vinicius Jr was attacked by racial comments from the home fans. People like Rio Ferdinand, Carlo Ancelotti, the President of Brazil, and many such people have already supported the player after the incident. Now, the Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario has also come in the defense of the Real Madrid star.
Real Madrid lost the match by one and was unable to put the ball in the net even once. Diego Lopez was the player to score the goal before halftime and helped his team to win the game.
The match heated up in the 73rd minute when Valencia fans started to shout ‘monkey-monkey’ to provoke Vinicius Jr. The shouts were just for the young Brazilian. This behavior of the fans caught the attention of the player and he also altered the referee about it. The referee then stopped the game but that didn’t prevent Madrid players to start a fight with Valencia players.
All the chants made the young Brazilian furious so he went and slapped Hugo Duro who was provoking him on the pitch for a long time. Vinicius Jr received a red card for his action and was sent off immodestly.
After the match, Carlo Ancelotti and many other players and Cubs gave their statements on how racism happens in the Spanish League. With all the big names now the Brazilian star Ronaldo Nazario also stands with the player against what he faced.
Ronaldo wrote on Instagram, “Once again an episode of racism in La Liga. As long as there is impunity, there’ll be racism. Unacceptable that refs, RFEF, and authorities, are left without action and that fans applaud such absurdity. It’s enough. Vini, count on me in your fight. In our fight.”

Vinicius Jr takes a fight with the League President after the incident
The young Brazilian has faced many cases of racism this year. And he has not failed to raise his voice in any of the incidents that took place before. The winger has slammed Javier Tebas before also regarding the no-strict rules of La Liga. And this time also he did the same.
But instead of supporting the player Tebas told, “Since those who should not explain to you what it is and what it can do @LaLiga. In case of racism, we have tried to explain it to you, but you have not shown up on either of the two agreed dates that you requested yourself.”
He further added, “Before criticizing and insulting @LaLiga, you must inform yourself properly @Vinijr. Do not let yourself be manipulated and make sure you fully understand each other’s competencies and the work we have been doing together.”
The Brazilian replied, “Once again, instead of criticizing racists, the president of La Liga appears on social media to attack me. As much as you talk and pretend not to read, the image of your championship is shaken.”
He further added, “See the responses to your posts and have a surprise… Omitting yourself only makes you equal to racists. I’m not your friend to talk about racism. I want actions and punishments.”
