This saying couldn’t be more true for Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and son Cristiano Jr. The Al-Nassr star’s eldest child has followed in his footsteps as he signed with the U-13 team of the Riyadh-based club. Now, a recent video of the youngster practicing free-kicks has sent fans down memory lane. The stance, the posture, and the technique all emulate that of a certain #7.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick technique has been immortalized in footballing history. How the Portuguese superstar takes a few steps back, spreads his legs apart, and runs up to take free-kicks never fails to captivate his fans. Furthermore, the Al-Nassr captain has managed to score a career total of 51 free-kicks, with his most recent coming in the Saudi Pro League.
Meanwhile, in the video which has now gone viral, Cristiano Jr. is seen practicing free-kicks. He shows off his sublime free-kick technique as he takes a few short strides to run up for the free-kick.

A fan was surprised at the coincidence of how Cristiano Jr was wearing a Sporting CP jersey as he took the free-kick. Another wanted Real Madrid to sign the youngster as soon as possible and to keep the legacy of Ronaldo safe in Madrid.
Others were simply in awe of the young player’s ability to master his father’s technique at such a young age. Others said that he (Cristiano Jr.) was very well at the level to play in a team consisting of 17 and 18-year-olds.
