Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first person to have 600 million people follow him on Instagram. He is the highest followed individual on the platform eclipsing the likes of rival Lionel Messi and singer Selena Gomez. He has acquired huge popularity across the world. This was expected as Ronaldo has arguably the biggest and the most dedicated fanbase in the world. That is despite him not playing in Europe anymore.
Cristiano Ronaldo had a forgettable first season at Al Nassr after he joined them in January. While individually, his records aren’t half bad as he scored 14 goals in 16 games. But the team couldn’t perform well. The Riyadh-based club was at the top of the table when the Portuguese striker joined the club but ended the season second behind Al-Itihaad.
There were rumors of a departure after just six months as then manager Rudi Garcia said that the player would return to Europe and not retire in Saudi. But, recently he has come and rubbished all these speculations and said that he would never return to Europe. However, life in Saudi may be suiting him after all. Georgina Rodriguez, his girlfriend uploaded photos and videos of her enjoying her time in the sea.
Except for a few comments that were not very friendly toward her. They started criticizing her attire and said that it was not right for Ronaldo, and she should be more loyal to him. They also said that she is nothing without him and she is disrespecting the Saudi culture by dressing like this.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez’s vacation
Georgina Rodriguez was on holiday with Cristiano Ronaldo ever since his season with Al-Nassr ended. The couple along with their kids traveled on boat cruises and visited many beaches around Europe.
They have enjoyed a great time and uploaded pictures on their social media about it. Recently, Ronaldo’s daughter was seen wearing a Liverpool jersey with Mohamed Salah written on the back.
This caused chaos in social media as people started speculating that it was shot at Ronaldo’s former club Manchester United. However, one of his sons was seen wearing a United jersey too. Thus proving that it is just the Portuguese star’s massive following that turns all his posts into viral trends.
