Manchester United player Diogo Dalot and his fiancee are expecting a baby soon. The couple recently held a gender reveal party where they announced the sex of their baby. Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, congratulated the couple in a video call.

Cristiano Ronaldo is known to be close friends with Diogo Dalot. The two played together at Manchester United before Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in January. They have grown more cordial with each other in recent months as Dalot has been spotted numerous times vacationing with Ronaldo’s family.

Dalot, who made a breakthrough into the Manchester United first team last season shared the joyous news of his engagement to his partner, Cláudia Pinto Lopes, in March. The couple’s happiness continues to grow as they have recently revealed that they are expecting a baby, adding to their wonderful personal news. Dalot posted the news on his social media yesterday with the caption, “The best gift we could ever wish for. We can’t wait to meet you.”

Ronaldo himself couldn’t attend the gender reveal party as he is set to join the training camp at Al-Nassr. But, he made sure to congratulate the right back in the video call along with Georgina Rodriguez. The gender of the baby has not been revealed to the public yet.

A resurfaced interview with the Portuguese superstar renowned footballer has captured attention on the internet once again and for a heartwarming reason. The interview, conducted by Piers Morgan in 2019, featured Ronaldo discussing his teenage years when he faced significant obstacles due to poverty. During the emotional conversation, he recalled the kindness of a woman who would provide him with free burgers.

The former Manchester United star said, “Late at night, about 10:30 or 11, we’d get a little hungry. So we had a McDonald’s next to the stadium where we lived and we’d always go to the back door and knock on the door, ‘Hey, do you have any hamburgers left?”‘ The player would then be given some food to eat by the cashier.

After the interview was aired, Edna did come up and give a statement regarding the above-mentioned incidents. She said, “I’m happy and it shows how humble he is. I’m really nobody for him to remember me like that. It was something that happened a long time ago. I’m very happy about what he has become. I never thought he would remember me so many years later.”
