Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo recently picked up an injury. As the Saudi club conducted training camps in Shenzhen, China, news of Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury has come as a shock to many. The club was all set to hold two friendlies, against Shanghai Shenhua and Zhejiang. However, the #7’s unexpected injury has forced the club to ‘postpone’ the games to a later time in the future.
Fans could not hide their disappointment at the news, as hundreds of fans flocked in front of the club hotel. Many stormed the hotel as they chanted the name of the Al-Nassr captain. In light of the incident, Ronaldo and the tour organizers held a press conference to dissolve/ calm down the ‘angry’ supporters. Talking to the fans, Ronaldo said that he and his teammates will return to the country.
Ronaldo said;
I love this country, and I want to play for you. Don't be sad, because I'm sad too. China is like a second home to me, I've been coming there since 2003/04. We have postponed the game.
He also said that it was unfortunate that he picked up the injury, but explained that this is part of the life of a footballer. The event organizers said that tickets and hotel packages would be refunded for those who were unable to see the star.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr shifts focus to TWO Manchester United stars
As Al-Nassr players spend their mid-season break in a training camp in China, club management is busy plotting potential transfer moves for the January transfer window. It was reported earlier that United football director John Murtough had traveled to Saudi to explore potential players to sign in January. Latest reports suggest that the club is aiming for not just one, but two stars in the window.
To begin with, Manchester United is in the process of offloading players who contribute ‘less’ while also being heavy earners in the wage bill. Casemiro, the £60 million midfielder is yet to play since November. The Brazilian picked up an unfortunate injury and hasn’t been involved in first-team action ever since. Al-Nassr has also explored the possibility of bringing in the Brazilian, who is also a former teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo.
After receiving a ‘NO’ from Tottenham Hotspur to sign right-back Emerson Royal, Al-Nassr will now look to sign United man Aaron Wan-Bissaka. With United not offering a long-term deal to the defender, the player and agent may be lured by Al-Nassr, who were ready to shell out £20 million for Emerson Royal. Al-Nassr on the other hand, has already signed Manchester United left-back Alex Telles in 2023.
