As Dolores celebrated her 69th birthday, it was no surprise that her son, Cristiano would be present at the heart of it. In a video that has then gone viral, Ronaldo is seen gifting a Rolex to Brazilian singer Luan Santana!

The two (Ronaldo and his mother) have shared numerous stories of love and struggle dating well back to Ronaldo’s childhood. The $500 million worth superstar is not just a sporting icon, but has evolved into a global symbol. In a luxurious and extravagant setting, the singer was presented the Rolex as a token of appreciation for his attendance at the event.

Ronaldo was watching with a smile, as Luan Santana unboxed his costly ‘gift’. Even though the singer initially had trouble opening the box, he managed to do so with help from a friend.

He stood back in disbelief and appreciation of the gift as he showed it to the cameras. Santana then proceeded to wear it and pose for pictures. He also posed for pictures with Ronaldo afterward.

Maria Dolores Aveiro, mother to Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated her 69th birthday on New Year’s Eve. Her son flew in from club duty in Saudi to spend New Year’s Eve with his beloved mother. Celebrations were underway in Madeira as a video shows what the Portuguese had arranged as a gift for his mother. To the disbelief of many, Ronaldo’s choice of gift was a black Porsche Cayenne.

She was brought to tears as she was led to her ‘gift’ by her grandchild, Cristiano Jr. She then proceeded to share an emotional moment with her grandchild, which was caught on camera. The 2024 Porsche Cayenne has a price tag that can go as high as $100,750. The superstar earns close to $4.1 million a week and splashed money to give his mother the perfect birthday gift.

Maria took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message for her followers. She wrote:

If she is happy, it's because her son remembers her and not because of the value of the gift. Respect your parents and your days on Earth will be long.

Ronaldo recently ended 2023 as the top scorer and can now enjoy a short break. His club, Al-Nassr do not play until the early days of February.
