Cristiano Ronaldo spotted leaving Old Trafford even before Manchester United’s pre-season friendly againt Rayo Vallecano ended

Cristiano Ronaldo has put himself at risk of further criticism from Manchester United supporters after he was seen leaving the stadium while they were still playing Rayo Vallecano in a preseason match.
The Red Devils were thwarted to a 1-1 draw by their Spanish rivals on Sunday, the Portuguese star’s maiden game under Erik ten Hag. Ronaldo, who wants to leave the club this summer, was the center of attention, although he only played for 45 minutes before being substituted at halftime.
And now since he seemed to depart the stadium before the game was over, the future of his career is even less assured. As fans tried to snap selfies with the fugitive star, images of Ronaldo and Diogo Dalot, who wasn’t on the team on Sunday, walking towards the Old Trafford parking lot surfaced on social media.
Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Manchester United?
When asked whether Ronaldo’s early departure was authorized, Manchester United did not respond. It undoubtedly prompts further queries about his future. Since Ronaldo has been open about wanting to leave this summer, Ten Hag and United fans could become irritated by this most recent episode.
Due to family obligations, the 37-year-old striker skipped United’s preseason trips to Thailand and Australia amid rumors that he wants to leave the team. Earlier this week, Ronaldo visited United’s practice facility once more to talk with the new manager Ten Hag about his future.
Ronaldo wants to play Champions League football, despite Ten Hag’s prior statements that the 37-year-old is “not for sale” and “in our plans.” After placing sixth in the Premier League the previous season, United was unable to go to the Champions League this year.
This season, Ten Hag’s side will instead play in the Europa League. After returning to United from Juventus in August of last year, Ronaldo has one year remaining on his contract.
Ronaldo has been working out at the Portuguese football team’s facilities in Lisbon. He led United in scoring last season with 24 goals. He has been working hard on his conditioning since last week when he returned to the club’s Carrington training center.
