Cristiano Ronaldo is running out of options as most top clubs in Europe shut their door for the Manchester United star. Bayern Munich bowed out of the race earlier only while Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel confirmed that he is looking for different kinds of players.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano the Portuguese did receive offers from MLS and some high paying lucrative offers from Saudi but his priority remains ti stay in Europe and play in the Champions League. However, most clubs can’t afford his wages.

Cristiano Ronaldo running out of options now as no clubs willing to take on the player

Many pundits and former players have criticised Ronaldo for his role in the downfall of his recent clubs. The player was blamed for Juventus’ downfall and also criticised for United’s disappointing season as well.

However, as Cristiano looks for new options, there aren’t many to look at. Man Utd remain the only club ready to keep the player but cannot offer him Champions League football after finishing 6th last season.

New manager Erik ten Hag is already eager to work with Cristiano Ronaldo but hasn’t had any training sessions with the player after he claimed he has some personal family issues to attend to.

Last season Cristiano Ronaldo scored 24 goals in 39 games for the Red Devils. The player’s output will only increase as Manchester United bolster their squad and add more quality in midfield. However, they need Cristiano Ronaldo to commit his future to the club or they’ll have another headache to look for a new striker this summer.
