Cristiano Ronaldo was handed a ‘meagre’ 86 Rating on EA Sports FC 24. The comparatively low rating has been the reason for much controversy and debate on social media. Furthermore, his rival Lionel Messi receiving a 90 rating intensified the questioning by the fans as they highlighted the ‘bias’ of organizations against their Portuguese ‘idol’. Amidst the ‘disappointment’ from the low ratings, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly joined a rival gaming partner which is about to release.
UFL, a free-to-play association football video game has won the race to sign Cristiano as their FACE. The 38-year-old is set to feature on the first-ever cover of the game. The EA FC 24 rival is set to release later this year. The console-based game is developed by Strikerz Inc. UFL, which stands for Ultimate Football League, has recently announced that Cristiano has joined them as an ambassador.
They have also released footage on official social media, featuring the Portuguese. The game is set to compete with EA FC 24 and eFootball PES. However, there is no official release date. Snippets of gameplay and features have also been released, featuring Cristiano hitting the ‘SIU’ celebration. Club kits and ball graphics have also been revealed.
Jude Bellingham equaled Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid record
The ‘Santiago Bernabeu’ has been witness to numerous Cristiano Ronaldo records. The Portuguese #7 arrived at Real Madrid on a £80 million fee from Manchester United. Following his arrival in the year 2009, Cristiano scored 451 goals and 120 assists until he finally bid adieu with the club in 2018. He also set a record for the club in his first 10 games. A 24-year-old Cristiano lit up Spain with 10 goals in his first 10 games while also providing an assist during that spell.
However, the latest RMA signing Jude Bellingham has equalled Cristiano’s record. In fact, Madrid #5 has surpassed the Poruguese’s record. While he also scored 10 goals in his first 10 starts, Bellingham has 2 more assists to his name. In addition to his blistering form, the Englishman has also become a fan favorite and has already made the fans chant “Hey Jude” in the Bernabeu.
Bellingham arrived at Real Madrid on a €103 million fee. He has been worth every penny since, scoring crucial goals in important matches. His charisma and contribution to the team have been lauded by fans and pundits alike. Carlo Ancelotti said, “Nobody expected this level from him (Jude) in terms of goals.”
