“You have to let go,” Dani Alves’ wife posts cryptic message on Instagram amidst his ongoing trial
Dani Alves' ex Joana Sanz posts message from a poet on Instagram possibly hinting towards her former beau.
Businesswoman and model Joana Sanz recently posted a mysterious message on Instagram possibly referring to her husband Daniel Alves. This comes after Dani Alves was arrested after a 23-year-old woman filed a case against him for sexual assault which he allegedly committed at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. Sanz has since then filed for divorce against the former FC Barcelona man.
The 29-year-old model took to Instagram to post a quote from poet Bianca Sparacino. Some of the excerpts from the post read, “You have to let go”, “You have to heal”, and “You have to accept that sometimes beautiful things end.”
Since their split, not a legal divorce, Sanz has also removed all photos with Alves from social media. The two initially met in 2015 due to a mutual friend. The pair eventually married via a private ceremony in 2017. This was Alves’ second marriage as he was previously married to Dinoro Santan for three years between 2008 and 2011.
Dani Alves is still in jail for his alleged actions which took place on December 30. The 39-year-old was arrested on January 2 and has been fighting a trial in court ever since his bail got denied in January.

Set to remain in jail, Dani Alves has been denied bail. On January 20, the 39-year-old was arrested for alleged sexual assault on a 23-year-old in Barcelona. After the initial investigation began, according to the judge, evidence suggested that Dani Alves was guilty as charged.
Apart from his legal situation, his personal life seems to also have been affected as his wife of six years Joana Sanz has filed for divorce. As of now, he and his lawyer have been preparing a solid defense for the case in court.
The Brazilian played his last professional game for the Mexican top-flight league team Pumas back in July 2022. He has won many major accolades playing with top European clubs such as FC Barcelona, Juventus, and Paris Saint Germain.
