Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez left surprised fans by ‘liking’ a TikTok post, which showed a lesson being written in English. The Uruguayan has been taking English language classes, after being criticized for his speaking skills.
A year ago, the Uruguayan striker, who was transferred from Benfica for a record fee of €75 million, was encouraged by Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, to improve his English. After the Newcastle game, he mentioned during his post-match interview that he had started English classes.
Moreover, the importance of communication in football is paramount. So, the 24-year-old player has taken up learning the English language as a key off-field goal.
