In the latest Netflix documentary ‘Beckham’, David Beckham produced a light-hearted gesture toward his beloved wife Victoria Beckham. The ‘Beckham’ documentary was recently released on the OTT platform Netflix and has been capturing hearts since.
In the documentary, Victoria Beckham referred to her family as ‘working-class’ during an interview. David Beckham playfully joined in, calling out to his wife while peeking from a door. He asked her to honestly share her family’s social status, reminding her, “Be honest… What car did your dad drive you to school in?”
The Spice Girls’ lead vocalist- Victoria further proved David’s point right with her naive reply that the netizens were quick to latch on to. She said, “It is not that simple… It depends… In the ’80s my dad used to drive a Rolls Royce.” The viral clip had viewers’ having their say on the opinion.
While some said that this only suggests that her family owning a luxury Rolls Royce back in the 1980s, is no ‘working-class’ feat by any means. There were others who said that Victoria saying ‘it depends’ further clarifies they did not have ‘A CAR’. Meanwhile, none failed to acknowledge how David Beckham grounded his wife during the whole interaction. Calling it a lively banter between the spouses.
