David Beckham is a Manchester United legend. The player also loves the club that gave him his debut. He has now said that returning to United would ‘mean the world’ to him. United have not won significant silverware in years and are struggling. Beckham would love to help usher a turnaround in their fortunes.
Beckham has claimed that change is the need of the hour for Manchester United. He started off by explaining that, in his view, the Glazer family should sell the club off. The fans do not support the owners and want a sale, and Becks feels that they should oblige. There have been bids to purchase the club by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and by a Qatari Delegation led by Sheikh Jassim.
Beckham has also stated that Manchester United needs investment. The club needs funds invested to transform facilities, include new amenities, and develop for the future. He believes local rivals Manchester City are developing their club on a long-term basis, and United should catch up.
Beckham also stated he wants to be involved in the club’s system.
I haven't been approached, and I suppose any involvement with Manchester United would mean the world to me going forward.David Beckham said.
Clearly, Beckham remains invested in his club, Inter Miami CF.
