As per multiple reports, Declan Rice asked West Ham United to accept Arsenal’s huge £105 million bid. Arsenal sent the gigantic bid on Wednesday after getting two bids rejected by West Ham and Manchester City joining the race.
Manchester City reportedly seems uninterested to match or contest with Arsenal’s £105 million. Their offer exceeds Hammers’ £100m valuation for the England star. Rice is thus open to joining the Gunners and is ready to inform the Hammers’hierarchy about his desire for the club to accept Arsenal’s latest bid.
Arsenal seems to be in a much more confident position of securing their no. 1 transfer target this summer. Reports indicate that Arsenal seems to believe that an agreement can be reached between both parties by the end of the day.
Arsenal’s bid to West Ham United consists of £ 100 million in guaranteed fees and an extra £ 5 million in bonuses. According to the reports, talks between both clubs are still advancing mainly over the structure of the deal and payment.
West Ham reportedly wants the guaranteed portion of Rice‘s fee paid by the start of 2025. They prefer the payment in two installments. Although it’s believed that Arsenal would want to pay the fee over a five-year period.

Jorginho’s agent refutes claims of any chance of the player moving out of Arsenal

Jorginho‘s agent Joao Santos confirms that his agent wants to stay at Arsenal next season. It was later rumored that Jrgino wanted to move out of the club following Arsenal’s interest to sign Declan Rice. Italian club Lazio was reportedly interested to sign him this summer if he left the Gunners.
In an interview, Santos claimed that Jorginho wanted to stay at Arsenal despite interest from Italy. He said, “Jorginho is very happy with Arsenal who has a very important championship to play, at the beginning of August there is the Community Shield. There is no negotiation with Lazio. I don’t know if they have the money to pay the player, but that’s not the question.”
Santos then concluded as he said, “He stays really well at Arsenal and in our mind, for the next season, there is only the Gunners. The theme is clear: the project for next year is to stay at Arsenal which can become the most important team in England ‘Coach Arteta is the most important in the Premier League, he understands modern football like no-one else and, obviously, someone like Jorginho goes very well with someone like him.”
