After serving 45 days as UK prime minister, Liz Truss made headlines by announcing her resignation. The scandal-plagued former PM made the announcement Thursday outside Downing Street, making her the prime minister with the shortest tenure in British history.
Since she assumed office on September 9th, Truss’ financial strategy has made the British economy worse, which has sparked a rebellion within her own Conservative Party. In just 45 days, Truss stormed out of the office, prompting online users to make a video parody ridiculing her hasty departure.

Before the final whistle, the former Real Madrid striker stormed down the tunnel because he was not going to be a substitution. Fans demanded that the club punish Ronaldo for his unethical behaviour after this incident.
Ronaldo, though, sent a statement on social media “apologizing” to the supporters and the team. Ronaldo was also given a £1 million fine and a minimum three-day suspension from first-team activity by Manchester United.
