Dominos trolls Liverpool Kit
The brand-new Liverpool away jersey for 2023–24 was finally unveiled by Nike on Friday. The white and green jersey is a modern interpretation of a ’90s classic. Its design was inspired by the club’s away jersey from 1995–96, which included the phenomenally gifted Robbie Fowler as top scorer and Ian Rush as club captain.
The green and white quarter pattern on the jersey itself is updated with a digital effect treatment that layers tone greens like a green flash, poison green, and pine green for a more contemporary look. Black shorts, a black name and number, and white socks with a black and green accent complete the kit.
The 97-emblem, which is encircled by the Eternal Flames, rests erect at the nape of the neck in honor of the children, adults, and men who were wrongfully slain as a result of the Hillsborough disaster, just like the home kit.
However, not everyone is a fan of this new Liverpool kit. There has been a lukewarm reception to the kit with some mixed reactions. The fans now await to watch Liverpool in action in the new colors The team will debut this kit against Leicester City during the pre-season tour in Singapore.
