For their forthcoming encounter versus Real Madrid, or the very prestigious El Clasico as the fans and supporters refer to it, the highly regarded LaLiga team Barcelona will adopt the legendary Drakes OVO jersey. The game is scheduled to begin on October 16th, 2022.
Barcelona earlier this year cancelled their sponsorship agreement with Spotify and has since signed on with the international music star Drake. Due to the debt problems they are presently experiencing and in an effort to rescue the squad, Barca had to cancel their agreement with Spotify.
Drake’s OVO brand owl emblem will replace Spotify’s logo on the front of the team shirts for the game as part of the collaboration to honour Drake for being the first artist to achieve 50 billion streams on the site. He had used his social media accounts to formally unveil the shirt.
One of the most eagerly awaited games in LaLiga this year is the El Clasico. Fans are anticipating this season’s opening of El Clasico. Football fans all over the world are becoming more excited as they observe their favourite team in a new uniform. Fans are eager for more.

Barcelona and Drake

One of the most respected and admired celebrities on all social media platforms is the international artist and top celebrity Drake. His supporters are well aware of his infatuation with Barcelona. “This doesn’t feel real but it is,” was the caption of the Instagram picture he used to reveal the jersey.
The number 50 was printed on the T-shirt he unveiled, symbolising his incredible achievement. Barcelona is now in first place after winning seven of the eight games they played and accruing 20 points overall. Real Madrid, which has a total of 19 points, is just behind them.
