EA Sports’ FIFA 2023 to have renowned web series Ted Lasso’s AFC Richmond

In Career mode of Fifa 2023, you can choose the much-loved Ted Lasso character played by Jason Sudeikis, and AFC Richmond will be playable in Kickoff, Online Friendlies, and Online Seasons. EA continues, “a number of AFC Richmond items including kits, tifos, Manager items, and other content will also be available to unlock across FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) and Pro Clubs where applicable.”
Richmond will be listed in the Rest of the World area instead of the Premier League in Kickoff, Online Friendlies, and Online Seasons, as you might anticipate. The team will include players Roy Kent, Jamie Tartt, Sam Obisanya, and Dani Rojas. The game will also feature the fictitious stadium Nelson Road.

In a Tweet from the TV show’s official account, actor Jason Sudeikis made a suggestion that it’s for a future video game.
“Look out, Mario!” it reads. “You’re not the only pixelated man with a mustache who never knows where the tube is taking him…”
Even more telling, EA Sports FIFA responded to the Tweet, with a simple eyes emoji. Ted Lasso’s inclusion in the game has already been hinted at most recently, the AFC Richmond was briefly listed among the teams on the game’s official website, raising speculation that it will be featured.
The first instalment of Ted Lasso, which launched in August 2020, covers the tale of the title character, an American football coach who moves to the UK in an unusual move to take charge of the struggling soccer team AFC Richmond. Naturally, this addition will please admirers of Ted Lasso. In fact, it might even be the reason I join FIFA at last.
Although FIFA 23 won’t be released until September 30, 2022, some gamers were able to access it earlier this month owing to a pre-load error. On September 27, those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition will be able to start playing three days sooner.
