The WSL final at Molineux Stadium witnessed a late win from the Gunners as Blackstenius led her team to the cup with a calmly placed shot from range inside the penalty box. While Eidevall responded to the accusations claiming that it was irresponsible of her to use such a label, Hayes justified the same, pointing to his behavior towards Cuthbert. Hayes added that it was mandatory for the players and staff to be role models for conduct on the touchline. While Eidevall received a yellow card for his conduct, Hayes stated he probably should’ve been sent off.

While Hayes appeared to acknowledge Arsenal‘s win and congratulated them for it, she circled back to Eidevall, and censured him yet again for his actions during the game. He justified his actions, stating that he only wanted the players to resume play with the same ball that was kicked out. He said that the label given by Hayes was far from the truth and that it was irresponsible of her to do so.
