Endrick is all set to join Real Madrid in July 2024. Ahead of his proposed move, the player was present to witness Real Madrid play at the Santiago Bernabeu. The internet has reacted to the youngster gracing the stands, but another striking fact about the youngster’s personal life has caught the attention of netizens. Endrick’s girlfriend Gabriely Miranda, who happens to be 3 years younger, was also present at the match. While many admired the age difference, others’ reactions were not as welcoming as the rest.
Brazilian wonderkid Endrick to Real Madrid is now a reality. The 17-year-old ‘boy wonder’ has made his first ‘appearance’ at the Santiago Bernabeu and was spotted in the stands during the match against Villareal. The youngster attended the game alongside his 20-year-old girlfriend as a 4-1 win against the visitors sparked cheerful responses from the Brazilian and his partner.
Upon Jude Bellingham‘s first half, both the Brazilian and his partner were seen imitating his classic celebration. However, a certain faction of supporters ‘attacked’ Miranda for trying to ‘latch on’ to the 17-year-old who looks all the more likely to achieve stardom.
Endrick also greeted his soon-to-be Real Madrid teammates after the game. The player also spoke with head coach Carlo Ancelotti. Endrick has then returned from Madrid after his ‘vacation’.
Fans react to Endrick and Gabriely Miranda’s ‘huge’ age-gap
Relationships having a 2 or more-year age gap is no new thing. However, 17-year-old Endrick’s partner, Gabriely Miranda is 20 years old. The social media personality and model boasts a 258K following on Instagram as well. Reacting to the news of their age gap, a fan opined that Miranda was clearly in the relationship for money and fame. However, another supporter reacted that Miranda is a successful model and influencer who wouldn’t be ‘needing’ the money.
Others were left amused by the difference in their ages. However, a fan was quick to remind me that the age of consent and relationship norms in Brazil are different. Some were enraged at the lack of ‘negative’ attention that Miranda was receiving. Some imagined the situation if the ‘roles’ were reversed and stated that men would receive more backlash attention for doing the same.
Despite all the chatter, reports suggest that Miranda and Endrick are in a ‘serious’ relationship. The model previously accompanied Endrick’s mother and siblings to watch a Palmeiras game. She has also been spotted attending several Palmeiras games and also for Brazil’s outing against Argentina. The youngster was recently crowned Brasileiro Série A champion as well.
