Soon-to-be Real Madrid star Endrick has been labeled as one of the top talents in Europe at the moment. The Brazilian youngster recently gave an interview with sports publication AS, outlining his motivations and goals with the Los Blancos. The youngster has been dubbed as the ‘next big thing’ and as a ‘sensation’, but not many know what he thinks about himself and the club whose historic white jersey he is soon to wear.

Speaking about the team, Endrick stated his satisfaction with everything that goes on at the club. His contract with the club activates as soon as he turns 18 years old, on the 21st of July. The player ended his season with Palmeiras on a high, as he helped his side clinch a second consecutive Brasileiro Série A title. The player visited the club and teammates last week and has also undergone his medical at the club.

His wish will soon come true, as Real Madrid have completed a deal amounting to €60 million to acquire his services. He also expressed his desire to link up with Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, who also happen to be international teammates at Brazil.

“People say I’m cold and have a heart of ice” – Endrick on the way people perceive him

Brazilian wunderkind Endrick has been setting social media ablaze with his majestic football. The 17-year-old exhibits a maturity and composure that is unseen in players of his age. From signing a partnership with New Balance to making his first appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu, things couldn’t be better for the youngster. However, the player admits that this does not come without sacrifice and suffering.

However, in a previous interview, Endrick admitted that he is a person of reserved nature. He also quoted instances where his mother and sister have called him a “cold” person. He said that in football, one must be so and that he has done the same from a very young age. Moreover, he outlined the reason for his mother’s and sister’s claims.

Some have even called him a person with a “heart of ice”, according to the player. On the pitch, however, Endrick remains cool and ‘unbothered’ as seen in several clips. He was once captured hitting the ‘floss’ mid-game while his light-hearted celebrations during the Série A trophy ceremony went viral. The soon-to-be Real Madrid star said that he hopes 2024 will be a better year.
