While at the World Cup, England’s players are facing a double security fee for their homes in England and their partners in Qatar. After a series of high-profile raids on players’ homes last season, captain Harry Kane and his team will be urged to hire extra security guards for their Nations League match against Italy tomorrow night.
Operation Opal is a national intelligence operation in the United Kingdom that combats significant organized crime. Supt Carl Williams, the force’s commanding officer, stated in February that there had been a “clear rise” in the number of Premier League stars burgled in the previous ten years.
Two anonymous England players whose houses were raided during last year’s Euros were among those targeted in the searches.

England stars will be needing tight security:
When robbers destroyed Victor Lindelof’s Manchester house earlier this year, his wife Maja and their two children were forced to confine themselves in a panic room.
In December, Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo was also a target. A group of thieves attacked the Portuguese international in front of his wife and infant at their house on the city’s outskirts.
A gang of thieves was captured on camera sneaking into the London house of England and Chelsea player Reece James in September. They brought out a safe, which held his Champions League and Euro 2020 runners-up medals.
Many of England’s stars’ wives and girlfriends are planning to remain on a cruise ship for the tournament in November so they may party without worrying about the country’s severe alcohol laws. It’s only sold in hotels, restaurants, and pubs, and it’s illegal to consume it in public.
When the WAGs go out in Qatar, they are likely to demand more privacy protection. Their wives and girlfriends, on the other hand, will take advantage of the tournament’s “party.” They were given a choice of villas and hotels, but many chose the floating hotel.
The cruise option appears to be a lock for Kane’s wife Katie Goodland, 29, Jordan Henderson’s companion Rebecca Burnett, 32, and Raheem Sterling’s girlfriend Paige Milian, 26.
