Argentine footballer Enzo Fernandez said the Chelsea board about his suggestion for a new permanent manager. The 22-year-old midfielder has reportedly suggested the name of his former boss Marcelo Gallardo. Gallardo is regarded as the father figure of the Argentines in the River Plate.
The former River plate player Fernandez considers Marcelo Gallardo a teacher. He said how his former boss lifted him to the first team. The player still remembers how his former boss gifted him his 2019 debut.
Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole have been appointed as the interim manager of the Blues for the current season. There are speculations about whether the board would appoint their former player as a permanent manager for his second term. Amidst when the young Argentine Fernandez advocates for his former boss to be the next permanent manager of the club.
