In a recent interview, Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag stirred up the Mason Greenwood question once again. He stated that Greenwood has shown his ability in the past performance before the investigation
Mason Greenwood was charged with the allegations of sexual assault by his girlfriend in January 2022 the investigations were going on and in February 2023 the player was dropped with all these charges due to lack of evidence and proof.
But still, Mason Greenwood remains suspended from the club. However Manchester United conducted an internal meeting regarding the future of the club but no concrete decisions were taken in that meeting.
And in a recent interview, a reporter asked Erik Ten Hag about the future of Greenwood at Old Trafford to which the Dutch coach replied, “showed in the past that he is capable of doing that [scoring goals for the club].”
However, the manager in the interview made it clear that he is not the one to decide whether the English player will play for the club again or not. From this statement of Erik Ten Hag, it is clear that nothing is in his hands.
Whether Greenwood will play for United in the coming season is a big question mark. But sure Ten Hag is not waiting for Greenwood hoping for his return. The Dutch manager is constantly speculating to sign big players in this summer transfer window. Ten Hag is desperate to sign the English striker Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen this summer. And is likely to bring at most one player to Old Trafford.

Is Neymar Jr to Manchester United possible?
Recently many reports have claimed that Neymar Jr is unhappy with the behavior of his current club and is speculating about a deal not said, Parc de Princess. And even Paris Saint-German wants Neymar to leave the club.
And in all this scenario Manchester United has shown interest in signing the Brazilian star as per recent reports. When Manchester United is looking for a player in the transfer market the Red Devil fans could not get more happier if Neymar comes to Old Trafford.
But this couldn’t happen with the current owners of the club. If Neymar joins Man Utd then the wage bill of the club will increase to a very great extent. And Man Utd has also not given any decisions on Mason Greenwood yet. So to bring the Brazilian star the club will have to decrease its wage bill.
But if Glazers hand the responsibilities to Sheikh Jassim then the transfer of Neymar from PSG to Man Utd would be easily possible. But for now, signing a star like Neymar is very difficult for the Red Devils with the current owners.
