In a closely fought game between the two teams, Manchester City came on top at Bramall Lane. While Haaland had missed a penalty won by Jack Grealish in the first half. He bounced back strongly like a real professional by converting Grealish’s cross. Scoring a towering header over the Sheffield defenders. The Norweigan hardly celebrated as he seemed relieved to get on the scoresheet finally.

The victory was momentous for the Cityzens, marking 200 wins under Pep Guardiola. It was so legendary that no other manager had done it faster than Guardiola earlier in the league. Unfortunately, Pep wasn’t present at the game to share his thoughts on creating a legacy with the Blues. He is recovering from a scheduled back surgery.

In a thrilling game, Sheffield scored in the 85th minute. Thanks to a failed backheel mistake by interim captain Kyle Walker. However, the Treble winners showed why they are the best team in the land. Walker ran down the wing a couple of times to make up for his mistake and passed the ball to Foden. The run was finished perfectly by City’s clutch goalscorer Rodri. He took a first-time shot from Foden’s touch and guided the Blues to victory and top of the league.
