Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is speculating selling the club following years of mismanagement and financial incompetency. The British-Iranian businessman has apparently set a price around £600 million for the complete ownership of the club.
In February 2016 the British-Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri controlled the reign of Everton. And claimed to help the club to return to its elite form. In his first Board meeting, Moshiri said, “We don’t want to be a museum. We need to be competitive and we need to win. We have a window to establish ourselves and we will do everything we can. Now we need to look at sustainability to be amongst the elite. It takes time, but we are committed.”
But finally, after seven years of this false statement, Moshiri has now decided to sell the club. And American company 777 Partners is leading in the race of buying Everton. The toffees have had many dark days and sometimes with no rays of light. And now in 2023, the Goodison Park keys are finally going into the hands of some worthy owner.
But the 777 partners have a condition in buying Everton and to sell the club that condition needs to be filled. The condition is very simple to buy the club it should play in Premier League next season. However, it is difficult for the Toffees to retain there top flight status this season.
It is hard for the club to avoid relegation as it is just a point away from it. To get the news owners Everton will have to win against Wolves and Bournemouth. American company 777 partners will take over the club at 600 million euros but only if the condition is fulfilled.
Besides American investment fund MSP Sports Capital are also in the race of buying Everton but Moshiri is ready to sell the club to the American investment fund as per many reports and news.

Everton’s performance this season
Everton has been very much below par this season when compared to the last 5 seasons. In previous seasons the club managed to get into the top 10 positions. Expect in 2021/22 and 2019/20 where the club finished in 16th and 12th position respectively.
But Toffees have always managed to pass relegation in the last 5 seasons. But this time to avoid relegation seems to be difficult for the club. Everton is just a point away from the bottom three. In the last five matches, Toffees have only won a match with two losses and two draws. The club has played 36 matches till now and is only able to win seven out of them with 11 draws and 18 losses.
