Barcelona has made Robert Lewandowski their main priority transfer for this summer. The Catalans have already agreed on personal terms with the player and Lewandoski is eager to join the club.

However, Bayern has no intentions to lose their best player of the last decade. The club already rejected a €32 million-plus addons offer from Barcelona before but the Spanish giants are reportedly preparing a new and improved €50 million offer for the Polish striker.

“I don’t care” – Salihamidzic adamant on Robert Lewandowski staying

Speaking to SportBILD, the Bayern President said, “I don’t care about that. I’m expecting to see Robert in training at Säbener Straße on July 12.”

The president was also asked if Mane was a replacement for Lewandowski to which he said, “I understand your question, but our position is clear: Robert has a contract until the summer of 2023.”

Sadio Mane sealed his €35 million move to Bayern Munich recently from Liverpool. The 30-year-old will join the Bavarian side in a new challenge after 6 years with Liverpool winning numerous trophies.

Robert Lewandowski on the other hand is desperate to leave the club. After 344 goals and 74 assists in 375 games, the 33 year old knows that this is his last opportunity to find a new challenge.

Robert Lewandowski has won numerous accolades with Bayern over the years. This includes the treble in 2020 along with 9 Bundesliga titles, 4 DFB Pokal and 6 German Super cups. Robert Lewandowski is definitely a Bayern legend and wouldn’t like to part ways with the club in a bad way.
