Chelsea fans are furious at their team’s performance after the club managed a controversial draw against West Ham United on Saturday. While Chelsea barely managed to create sufficient chances in the match, it was the officials of the match who received a fair share of heat along with Chelsea manager Graham Potter.

Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix opened the scoring for the Blues in the 16th minute combining with another summer addition, Enzo Fernandes. Fernandes crossed a beautifully weighted inswinging ball into the box. Joao Felix peeled away from his markers and gently slotted it home past a helpless Lucas Fabianski.

The most controversial moment in the match came in the 88th minute when a low shot from Conot Gallagher hit Tomas Soucek in the hand inside the box and the referee waved it off. The Chelsea players surrounded the referee Andy Madley but to little avail. The ball clearly hit the hands of the lanky Czech which has left the fans baffled.

Coach Grahm Potter is in a lot of heat after the team’s dismal draw. Owner Tedd Boehly has spent £500 million euro in the January transfer window alone and yet the team has not been able to score points.

On the other hand, David Moyes’ side also saw a goal denied in the 83rd minute of the match by VAR. The tech has surely garnered a lot of haters after the match. Since the transfer window has closed, Chelsea played two games and have drawn both. Currently, they are ninth in the league.
