Leicester City are under fear of Relegation. The Foxes lost their away game in an embarrassing 5-3 scoreline. The Premier League team gets booed by fans amidst the disaster. While Willian and Tom Cairney score a brace.
Fulham took the lead in the early ten minutes of the Premier League clash. Former Chelsea player Willian takes a brilliant free kick right outside the box. Minutes later Willian scored his Brace securing the four goal cushion.
Harrison Reed made a brilliant run down the flank shooting the ball. The Brazilian forward took a shot from distance far from Leicester’s keeper. The Foxes tried reducing the lead with less than 10 minutes left. James Maddison has converted the penalty this time. While Barnes scored in the closing minute.
Fans react to Leicester City’s loss which may lead to Relegation
Fans show their clear displeasure from the performance of Leicester. The visitors were booed by the fans while they walked down the tunnel for the half time. Leicester City are on the verge of getting relegated. Fans took to Twitter to banter their loss which may see them getting relegated.
Some fans commented hinting towards the transfer market saying ‘Need me some of that Leicester fire sale if they get relegated.’ While some fans said that they are accustomed to see the downfall, some commented ‘This season has taught me to practise Stoicism. Only positive of the season’ while some fans got angry to comment ‘Leicester City should be buried right now’.
With the fear of getting Relegated some fans went on commenting ‘I think that’s it, I’m out of copium. Let’s hope we do well in the Championship.’ While there were fans commenting ‘It’s over, it’s never been more over than it is now.’
Leicester City has lost 21 of their 35 matches in this season. They have failed to win in their last three games. They will face Liverpool in the coming weekend and it will be intriguing to see how they manage to save themselves from getting relegated.
