AFC Bournemouth avoided relegation by 5 points in the 2022/23 season. Many fans believed the Cherries would struggle yet again in the current season, as they just avoided relegation. But with some smart signings and the appointment of Andoni Iraola, the club has now gone 7 games unbeaten in the league.

Since their 6-1 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad in early November, Bournemouth has failed to lose a single match. The only time they managed to drop points was when they hosted Aston Villa, who they held to a 2-2 draw. The unbeaten run started when they hosted Newcastle United, who they beat 2:0.

There were further praises for the team’s playstyle, saying Catalan giant FC Barcelona would be scared of the cherries. With their 5 game-winning streak, Bournemouth has been applauded by fans and pundits alike. Their next few games will be a challenge, as they face Tottenham Hotspurs, Liverpool, and West Ham in their next three Premier League fixtures. With such tough fixtures, only time will tell if AFC Bournemouth can maintain their unbeaten run.
