“A lunatic; Worst I have seen”- Fans express anger at Casemiro after he gets sent off in Manchester United v Southampton PL clash
The Brazilian sent off for the second time this season.

Manchester United fans were fuming as Casemiro got a straight red card for the second time in six weeks. The 31-year-old went studs up into Southampton attacking midfielder Carlos Alcaraz and was originally given a yellow card. However, VAR advised referee Anthony Taylor to change the decision to a red, and the Brazilian had to leave the field.
Casemiro will now be suspended for 4 games since this is the second red card he has received this season. Casemiro was previously sent off on February 4th after he put his hands around Mark Hughes’ throat.
Manchester United began the game with an interesting lineup, with Bruno Fernandes playing a more defensive role in central midfield. Jadon Sancho started as an attacking midfielder. After the red card, central striker Wout Weghorst was substituted for the more defensive-minded Scot McTominay. Here is how Twitter reacted to Casemiro’s latest red card-

Many people thought Casemiro wasn’t good enough for a legendary club like Real Madrid during his early years there. However, his achievements demonstrate how he proved everyone wrong and became the vital player he is today, proving the doubters wrong.
The Brazilian, along with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, formed one of the most iconic and legendary midfield trios of all time, earning a special place in the hearts of Madridistas around the world.
Casemiro joined Real Madrid in 2014 but was loaned out to FC Porto to hone his skills in a country where he felt at ease. That is exactly what happened, as the Brazilian demonstrated his incredible talent at Porto before earning a respectable return to Real Madrid only a season later.
Casemiro returned to Real Madrid and became one of the club’s most important players at the heart of midfield. Casemiro was called up for international duty when he was 19 years old, despite being one of the most talented midfielders in Brazil from a young age. Mano Menezes selected him for the 0-0 draw against Argentina on September 5, 2011, when Casemiro was only 19 years old.
Casemiro won 5 Champions Leagues and 3 La Liga titles at Real Madrid before his move to English giant Manchester United in 2022.
