The video of the United captain feigning an injury went viral on social media. Following Harry Maguire‘s equalizer in the 89th minute, Bruno advanced towards the Fulham defense and attempted a left-footed shot from 30 yards out. After his shot was saved, he exaggeratedly fell to the ground, mocking pain and signaling for a foul by Fulham’s Sasa Lukic.
