Virat Kohli, the former Indian Cricket team captain and Indian International player is well known for his exploits on the cricket pitch. However, he is no stranger to the ‘beautiful game’ and regularly pitches in with his takes on the football scenario. He is a devout Cristiano Ronaldo fan and has named the Portuguese as his role model on several occasions.

In a recent revelation, Kohli had more to say about Cristiano Ronaldo as well as his favorite club. To the surprise of many, he named Manchester City as his favorite club ‘currently’. While being quizzed for a media interaction by his partner, he said that his favorite club at the moment were Man City.

In a clever comeback, he shared his past loyalties. When his partner, Anushka Sharma asked about his previous team, he simply said, “Wherever Ronaldo played.” Now, he backs the Cityzens since Ronaldo moved from the Premier League to join Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, in 2019, Kohli named Cristiano as the ‘most complete player’ in his eyes, while naming Lionel Messi as a ‘freak’ of nature. But it is no secret that Kohli is a diehard CR7 fanboy.
