Kylian Mbappe and Kim Kardashian were seen together at Michael Rubin’s 4th of July party, where they appeared to enjoy each other’s company. Kardashian later shared a photo of them on Instagram, captioned, “What a night – still recovering.” However, her comments section was filled with football fans discussing the so-called “Kardashian curse.”
Mbappe, the French international forward, was among the most high-profile guests at the extravagant 4th of July gathering held in Long Island, New York, hosted by billionaire Fanatics founder Michael Rubin. Kardashian was also in attendance, alongside notable figures such as Tom Brady, James Harden, Kendall Jenner, Justin Bieber, Jay Z, and Beyonce.
Mbappe and Kardashian had a previous encounter during the season when the model visited Paris after attending an Arsenal game. The French player was also spotted dancing with the model’s sister Kendall Jenner later at night. His presence at the party might be a ploy to increase his American fanbase to become a world-renowned superstar.
Intriguingly, there have been instances where certain football superstars faced a drop in form following Kardashian’s association with football. This phenomenon has given rise to the notion of the “Kardashian Curse,” which is believed to have contributed to Arsenal‘s decline in the Premier League title race, as well as defeats suffered by PSG and Roma after Kardashian was spotted wearing their jerseys.
