“Incredible human” – Fans LAUD Mohamed Salah for viral Christmas post, urging remembrance of Gaza

Mohamed Salah has posted his annual Christmas post. In 2022 he posted a photo of himself and his family celebrating Christmas, this time it’s just a photo of the tree and a heartfelt caption in honor of the people of Gaza. 

The city of Gaza has been reduced to rubble due to the continuous bombings. The people of the region have been displaced, lost loved ones and many have suffered injuries. With such suffering in the region, the Liverpool star decided to ask fans all over the world to remember the loss of the people in the region. 

In his caption, he mentioned how he shared the pain of the people of Gaza, who witnessed destruction and losses. He said he wanted his fans to recognize the pain and hoped they didn’t go through such suffering. 

Christmas is a time when families get together and celebrate. With the brutal war going on in the Middle East, especially the death and destruction in Gaza, this year we get to Christmas with very heavy hearts and we share the pain of those families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Please do not forget them and do not get used to their suffering. Merry Christmas.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Salah has commented on the situation in Gaza. When Israel started their attack on the region, he released a video in which he called the violence in the area unbearable. Along with that, he called out for all world leaders to stop the slaughtering of innocent people in Gaza and to continue sending humanitarian aid to the region.

Just an hour after posting his annual Christmas post, it received over 4 million views on Twitter. Meanwhile, on Instagram, his Christmas post amassed half a million likes. The post received mixed reactions from fans. 

While many praised him for his caption, calling him a hero and an incredible human being. Others wished him a Merry Christmas as well. Many joked about how they awaited his annual Christmas posts, which often has polarizing reactions on the Internet.

Mohamed Salah has had a wonderful season so far. He is the 2nd highest goal scorer in the Premier League, with 12, just two behind Erling Haaland. He is also joint top in the most assists table. The Egyptian King has assisted 7 times, tied with Pedro Neto and Kieren Trippier. In his recent outing, he scored in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal. 

With the Title race heating up, Liverpool finds itself in a race with Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspurs, and Aston Villa. With 20 games left, it is assumed to be one of the most exciting Premier League in a long time. Salah and co. will now travel to Turf Moor to face 19th-placed Burnley. As of Christmas, they are currently one point behind the Gunners.
