“Coming for the Ballon d’Or” – Fans react to Jude Bellingham’s yet another award as he is CROWNED the best U-20 player by IFFHS

Things haven’t been better for Jude Bellingham right now. He got a dream move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, is one of England’s most important players, and is scoring for fun. He already won the Golden Boy Award and Kopa Trophy, and now has been declared the best U-20 player. 

Bellingham has scored 13 goals and assisted twice in the league so far. Along with that, he has scored 4 times and assisted thrice in the Champions League in 5 games. The midfielder has now made a huge mark in European football, with him proving his £115 Million price tag.

To add to his performances with Real Madrid, he was one of the best players in the Bundesliga when he was at Borussia Dortmund. In 2023 he had 5 goals and 4 assists. Dortmund finished 2nd, narrowly missing the Bundesliga title on the final day of the season.

The International Federation of Football History & Statistics decided to award him the World’s Best Youth Player award. This is the 2nd time he won it, with Bellingham being awarded it in 2022. Along with him, FC Barcelona Femini’s Salma Paralluelo was awarded the same award for women’s football. 

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was awarded IFFHS’s Best Men’s Player of the World award, ahead of stars like Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Aitana Bonmati was declared the Best Women’s Player of the World, beating teammate Paralluelo and Chelsea’s Sam Kerr. 

Fans not surprised as Jude Bellingham wins yet another award 

It did not come as a surprise to many fans when Juge Bellingham was declared the World’s Best Youth Player award by IFFHS. This was the 4th award he was given for his performances, with him winning the Kopa Trophy, Golden Boy Award, and GOAL NXGN.

While many were unsurprised as there was no competition for him, there are some who expressed happiness over yet another award for his performances. Subsequently, fans said that he deserved it. Now, the fans want him to lift the ultimate award – the Ballon d’Or.

Meanwhile, Bellingham’s last appearance came in Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Alaves. Los Blancos currently stand 1st in the league, tied on points with Getafe. Along with that, the club qualified for the Champions League round of 16, with the team being drawn with RB Leipzig.
