Real Madrid‘s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has achieved a commendable feat that only a few other Sports professionals can boast of. The 64-year-old has received an honorary doctorate from the University of Parma.
The University’s prestigious Medicine and Surgery Department awarded him Doctor Honoris Causa in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities. “I received this degree, and some will say that I have taken few exams,” he said in his honorary speech as he addressed a room full of supporters. He also underlined that he has taken many exams to achieve this academic achievement and will continue to seek education and knowledge.
Ancelotti’s achievements are undoubtedly inspiring as he showcases that there is no age to learn. He joked that he liked when his players would have to call him a doctor.
According to Football Espana, he specializes in “Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities” after completing his Master’s Degree course. Ancelotti is said to take charge of Brazil’s National team after his time with Real Madrid ends to guide them to a successful campaign for Copa America.
