Seventeen-year-old Marc Guiu, La Masia talent, scored his first professional goal for Barcelona against Athletic Club. It only took the youngster 23 seconds after entering the game in the 79th minute, to score his senior goal.
Joao Felix provided a brilliant pass, and Guiu, wearing the number 38 jersey, calmly slotted the ball into the net as he celebrated with a loud “VAMOS!” Soon his teammates joined him in his joyous moment.
Barcelona’s recent victory over Athletic Club has moved them into third place, with only one point separating them from Girona and Real Madrid. This is good news for Xavi, their coach, especially since Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Sevilla the night before. In the upcoming days, Barcelona faces important matches against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and then the big one, El Clasico.

Born in Granollers, a town near Barcelona, Marc Guiu, a product of La Masia, scored in his first professional game, making the club proud.
