Liverpool is eyeing Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala as he’s unhappy not being a regular starter. Musiala’s contract runs until 2026, but Liverpool is keen on him since he’s not getting many chances under Thomas Tuchel.
According to German newspaper BILD, the player is yet to have contract renewal talks with the club which were originally set for the month of April. This is due to Musiala being unsatisfied with not having the position of an undisputed starter for the German Giants.
Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has been a fan of the player for quite some time. The German International has also previously shown an interest in the Premier League stating in an interview, “The Premier League is a really strong league, the biggest stars go there.” However, at the time the player was satisfied with his time at Bayern, further adding, “I don’t know if I will go there someday too. All I know is that I really enjoyed my time in England.”
Now with reports of the player looking for a move away from the Bundesliga side, the German International – while a history with the English game exists – could be tempted to join Real Madrid due to his connection with Jude Bellingham, if Los Blancos come calling.
Twitter reacts to Jamal Musiala’s transfer link to Liverpool
In his short spell as a professional, Jamal Musiala quickly established himself as one of the best young prospects in the world with his ability on the ball in the attacking midfield role. With 23 goals and 20 assists in 94 Bundesliga games, the young German has shown his capability of playing at the highest level at the age of just 20 years.
Here are some of the reactions: –
Musiala played a crucial role in Bayern’s Bundesliga success last season scoring the winning goal against Koln winning them their 11th consecutive league title on the final day of the season.
Bayern would lose a huge prospect in Jamal Musiala if the player decides to leave and if the transfer were to happen, would not allow the player to leave unless the transfer fee is an exorbitant amount.
