UEFA’s official tweeter handle posted a poster of the finals of the UCL 2022-23 which featured Real Madrid and Inter Milan. Although Inter has already qualified for the finals after defeating AC Milan 3-0 in aggregate at San Siro yesterday. But Real Madrid are yet to qualify as they are to play the second leg of the UCL semifinals.
UEFA’s post shocked the footballing world as it was a grave mistake from the organization’s side. UEFA however after understanding what blunder they had done, deleted the post immediately. Although the handle had posted the other graphic with City as the finalists posted a few minutes later, it had already caused a massive outrage on social media.
Real Madrid are scheduled to play against Manchester City in the second leg of the UCL Semi-finals at Etihad Stadium. Both teams are 1-1 in aggregate as of now. And both need to thank Vinicius Jr. and Kevin De Bruyn. It was because of them that their team’s hopes are still alive for playing in the finals. Thus today’s game will be a decider of who gets into the finals to face Inter Milan in Istanbul on June 11, 2023.

Fans are reportedly mocking UEFA after their latest post on Twitter which turned out to be one of their biggest blunders. UEFA posted a poster for the UCL final where by mistake they added Real Madrid along with Inter Milan. Although Inter has already qualified for the finals, Madrid are yet to do so. And due to this mistake of UEFA, which took the internet by surprise, fans are now making fun of the organization. Many fans have posted about UEFA’s posts on social media. One fan wrote, “You lot not even hiding the rigging anymore”. While another fan wrote, “How do we stand a chance against this”. And a third fan wrote, “I’ve just put my life savings on Madrid to qualify tonight”.
