A former FC Barcelona player attended Shakira's party
Pop star Shakira is currently the hot topic of the town following her new release with Bizarrap on January 12. To celebrate the success of her new release, Shakira hosted a party. Interestingly, former FC Barcelona player Patrick Kluivert was also present at the scene.
In just four days, the track in which the Columbian took several digs at her former partner Gerard Pique has crossed 152 million plays on Youtube. Shakira received a lot of criticism for her lyrics in the song, but she went on to celebrate this weekend at her home.
In Shakira’s new song, she had lyrics like: “I’m worth two 22’s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio… A lot of gyms, but work your brain a little bit too.”
A TV show called ‘Salvame’ revealed many details about the party. Many fans were left curious when they were informed a Barcelona player was present at the scene.
Finally, it was revealed that Patrick Kluivert was the one. The Dutchman was very popular in the 90s when he played for Barca. Notably, Kluivert is the third-highest goal scorer for the Netherlands.
Gerard Pique mocks Shakira as Kings League signs partnership with Casio
Shakira did not leave anything in the tank post-breakup, with her latest release aimed toward Pique and his new girlfriend, Clara Chiea. However, Pique is also in no mood to let Shakira be the only one taking swipes at him.
He replied to Shakira’s diss track in the most unimaginable manner possible. Shakira’s song said, “You swapped a Rolex for a Casio”. Pique, who owns the King’s League, signed a sponsor deal with the Casio watch company.
“Casio has sent us wristwatches. We reached a sponsorship agreement with Casio, the King’s League struck a deal with Casio.” Pique announced in one of his live streams.
Earlier this month, Shakira released the song ‘Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53′. It had lyrics like, “I was out of your league, which is why you’re with someone just like you” and “You swapped a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo/You swapped a Rolex for a Casio.”
Pique did not respond to the question when asked why a deal with Casio, but Sergio Aguero was there. The Argentine shared some of his insight, saying, “It was because of Shakira’s song.”
