“F*cking Rubbish”- Erik ten Hag blasts off at a Manchester United youngster during pre-season training

The New Manchester United manager is a no-nonsense man. However, the United players got a glimpse of how direct Erik ten Hag can get in their first few training sessions. Erik ten Hag likes to play a certain kind of football and doesn’t allow any unnecessary improvisations.
Earlier during Manchester United’s pre-season friendly against Crystal Palace, the manager was heard shouting “What the F*** was that” when his team was performing differently from what he expected.
This time around, it was United’s young midfielder, Zidane Iqbal who got the beating from Erik ten Hag. In a video surfacing online, Ten Hag can be heard ripping into the youngster during training.

In the video that’s been going viral now, Erik ten Hag can be heard saying, “Keep the ball on the floor! Zidane! Hey! Keep the ball on the floor,” shouted Ten Hag. “F*****g rubbish!”
The Dutchman has been enforcing his style of play quite impactfully and it is also visible on the pitch. The Red Devils have registered two 4-0 victories and one 3-1 win in their last 3 pre-season games. The team has been scoring goals and defending well.
The youngsters have also been doing well and Zidane Iqbal has been one to get some praise. Former United captain Rio Ferdinand recently singled out Iqbal and Savage for praise while speaking on his podcast, Vibe with Five.
“I’ve watched the last two pre-season friendlies and the young lads in midfield there – Charlie Savage has been excellent, Zidane’s been very good as well,” Ferdinand said.
Man United now face Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid in Australia as the final 2 games of their pre-season tour while they host Rayo Vallecano back in England before kicking off their Premier League season.
