On the other hand, the South American defender accepted the allegations of violence reported to be done by him. While Mina Bonino posted how bad it was for Baena to comment on their unborn child, the Spanish midfielder outrightly rejected the allegations. It was after the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final when the Uruguayan said he took the side of his family. “Yes, at this time I have leaned on the family, on the people of Madrid and those who support me on the street” said the midfielder in the press conference

Authorities have confirmed that the Real Madrid defender will face a match ban for the punching incident. The reports now raise concern for the player who might land up in jail for the violence against teammates.

The 24-year-old may land into more trouble. The Spanish player from Villarreal has complained about it to the State police. The executives may file a case on charges of assault against citizens.

As per Spanish laws, any person involved in the assault may be subjected to a fine and jail. It will depend on the severity of the offence. One may expect to see very less prison time for Fede but he might happen to find himself on the other side of the gate.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti’s side will face Chelsea in the second leg. It is not sure if Federico will be a part of the Champions League squad flying to Stamford Bridge amidst punishment orders.
